After extensive renovations Little Village Preschool, opened in July 2011.  Little Village is continuing our founding principles of providing a developmentally appropriate preschool experience preparing children for kindergarten.  Little Village enrolls children six weeks up to 12 years old. We offer before and after school programs for students attending Fort Miami and a summer program for school-agers.
 
In addition to having advanced education degrees in early childhood our teaching team attends continuing education classes each year to stay up to date on the current methods and standards developed by the Ohio Department of Education.  Employees also participate in health and safety classes throughout the year.
 
Many of our teaching team members are residents of Maumee and share the pride and traditions of the community.  Above all, we believe in working with families and the community for the success of the child.

We are a 3 star center as rated by Ohio's Step-Up-To-Quality Program. In Lucas County there are only 177 licensed facilities. 16% are 2 star and 28% hold the distinction of 3 stars. Ohio's Step-Up-To-Quality program is a statewide initiative that focuses on quality in the child care environment.
